Post-licensure Training for Experienced Foster Parents

In addition to the PRIDE pre-service training, foster parents must complete 10 hours of post-licensure training each year. The hours can be filled through the Idaho Child Welfare Partnership through a variety of means.

Please contact your local Foster/Pre-Adopt Training Consultant for additional training resources and for support group and mentoring opportunities in your region. Other specialized training for special groups of foster parents, such as kinship and therapeutic, will be provided on an as needed basis.

To find out more contact the University Partner in your region.
